Spa Etiquette

At Trouvaille Boutique Day Spa we strive to make every client feel instantly at home – regardless of whether it’s your 1st visit or your 10th treatment this month. Part of feeling at home is knowing what to expect and ensuring that you’re prepared for your treatment, that’s why we’ve compiled this list of “things you need to know”.

Arrival Time

We recommend that you arrive at the spa reception at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment so that you can be shown to your locker and get ready for your treatment. Should you arrive late, for whatever reason, we will unfortunately have to reduce your allocated treatment time to accommodate the delay – and the full treatment fee will apply.

Cancellation policy

Please advise at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend your appointment. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours of your appointment will be liable for 100% of the treatment fee. This also applies to “no shows”.

Health concerns

If you have any health concerns, please inform your therapist so that we can ensure your treatment is suitable for your condition. You will also be asked to fill in a consultation indemnity card upon arrival, where all health issues should be indicated.

Spa attire

Soft robes, luxury towels and slippers are provided. You are welcome to wear your own underwear during your treatment or, alternatively, disposable underwear can be provided. Please remove all your jewelry and lock it away in the locker provided.

Post treatment

After your treatment, you can rinse off in one of the showers provided, where you will also find our signature range of shampoo, conditioner and body wash that was created specifically for Trouvaille.

Group bookings

Full upfront payment is required for groups of 2 or more. Please advise a minimum of 4 days in advance if you cannot attend the appointment. Cancellations made after 4 days will be liable for 100% of the treatment price.

The Fine Print

  • Please note that spa facilities are used at your own risk.
  • Trouvaille Boutique Day Spa is unfortunately not wheel chair friendly.
  • Heat treatments are not recommended for people with high blood pressure or heart conditions, or for expecting mothers.
  • Trouvaille Boutique Day Spa cannot be held responsible for any theft, damage, loss or misfortune that may occur with any personal items.
  • Gift vouchers may not be exchanged for cash.
  • Please respect all spa guests’ right to privacy and serenity.
  • Upon arrival, please switch off or mute your mobile phone and keep it switched off or muted for the duration of your time with us.
  • Only professionally qualified and fully trained spa care professionals are employed at Trouvaille Boutique Day Spa.
  • We are committed to continued education and skills development and therefore our therapists attend regular training sessions.
  • Trouvaille Boutique Day Spa regrets that no one under the age of 12 years is allowed to use the spa facilities or be booked for treatments.
  • Our best reward is your personal recommendation. Gratuities are left at your discretion.
